Who’s got your back?

Funny how social media works and how wise words are passed around the internet everyday. Here is a nugget that I found a few months ago… it continues to stick with me and I just wanted to share it with you! “I’ve got your back” These are the words that entrepreneurs, painters, artists, statesmen, customer [...]

In November of 1997 I attended a life changing seminar called Choices. It is facilitated by an incredibly insightful and brave woman, Thelma Box. In a recent email from Thelma I read the following and wanted to share it with you. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did! “Lost time is [...]

Letting go…

On a recent trip to Disneyland with our family I had an interesting thought about roller coasters and birthing a baby. Odd, you may think? But read on to see what I discovered… This was not only our kids first trip to Disneyland but mine as well.  I’ve grown up hearing of the amazing rides [...]

With the onset of the New Year, I have made a view changes to my day to day living… For the past 7.5 years, my life has been all about the kids, my husband, the house, my business, and work.  When I went to the Dr. a few months back questioning if I was depressed [...]

Hello Sarah, my name is Rajvinder Kaur. Over three years ago my husband Santbir and I did our prenatal classes with you. Your mentor, Heather Martin, was with us for the weekend, observing you. I’m not sure if you would remember me as it has been some years since then and also, I’m sure you’ve had many people in and out with your classes. I just wanted to drop you a line, say hello and once again, all these years later tell you how thankful I am for those classes. I was 23 when I had my son. I was so scared and did not know what to expect; not from the labour and delivery and especially not from being a mother. My son is 3 years old now and I have a daughter also who will be turning 1 at the end of February. My second pregnancy was much easier, as I’m sure is the case for most women. However, I wanted to tell you how much your classes helped me in giving me the confidence to birth my child and also help ease some of my nervous tension surrounding the whole situation. What you do for couples who are about to become parents is a beautiful and blessed thing. I just wanted to thank you for that.
